Ruth grew up in Europe and this is where her love of the outdoors and adventure began, hanging out on the farm with her dad or exploring hiking trails with her mum. Her mum first introduced her to yoga as a teenager and she has never looked back. Yoga has provided her with a blank canvas to discover more about herself which guided her into her first training. Inspired by movement and breath, seeking inspiration from her daily life, people around her and nature. "I love how grounded, and balanced I feel after each practice, and love sharing that with my students." Her classes infuse movement, mindfulness and connection to breath, encouraging students to listen to their bodies, to feel their breath and cultivate awareness. Students can leave the mat and journey into the rest of the day feeling grounded, inspired and ready to explore their true potential. With a busy family, she fell in love with yin yoga and a mindfulness practice. She is always adding to her curiosity of the movement and healing of the body. She is a certified yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance. She is dedicated to working with people to achieve their optimum well-being and find balance in each moment of their daily lives. When she is not on her yoga mat, she can be found outside exploring nature and all its beauty. With three active kids she shares her love for the outdoors with them on bike trails, or carving the snow on her snowboard. Her creative soul can be seen not only on the yoga mat, but on a canvas, and behind the camera lens.
